Senior Systems Administrator
Provide input into the development of systems and standards
Responsible for the evaluation of technological solutions and support the development of systems and software
Participate in projects to manage the solution design, in compliance with policies and standards, working proactively to maintain a stable, viable architecture
Participate in Proof of Concepts to answer Architecture concerns
Check that the deliverables meet the standards and solutions defined
Advise and guide Quality Assurance activity
Advise on the Configuration management of application/software changes
Perform tasks outside of regular business hours, as required
Provide After Hour on Call support, as needed
Work with Program Managers and customers on key initiatives
Work in a virtual team environment with remote accountability
Handle restricted data with sensitivity to ensure that confidential data remains private.
Responsible for conducting performance monitoring and maintenance of equipment in support of an enterprise anti-virus application to include VMWare, MS Windows O/S, SQL DB, SCCM, Cisco Nexus Switches, NetApp SAN, and F5 LTM/GTM.
Monitor, maintain, patch, update and remediate systems to ensure continuous availability and acceptable performance via CA tools (for hardware, O/S, DB, etc.), VMWare tools, Microsoft tools, NetApp tools, and F5 tools to manage the environment.
Monitor to ensure the VA infrastructure is available, perform backups/recoveries as well as hardware and software O/S upgrades and patches as requested, identify and troubleshoot issues, and report activity via a helpdesk management tool.
At least 5 years of relevant experience.
3-5 years relevant with trouble ticket management and documentation experience
Responsible for capacity planning and license usage monitoring.
Knowledge of MS SQL, Storage devices (NetApp), Switches (Cisco) and Servers (F5 and Cisco)
Perform related duties, as assigned or requested
Ability to acquire and maintain VA credentials
B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience. NOTE: Five (5) years of directly related experience in a related field may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree requirements
Experience working remotely and working with remote customers.
Ability to communicate with wide range of personalities

Proficient in the entire MS Office Suite

Networking and Windows OS skills;
Advanced SA skills and experience with Windows OS, VMWare (ESXi 6.X), vCenter, NetApp SAN, and Cisco Switches.
Solid networking skills for troubleshooting and problem resolution;
Exposure to F5 LTM and GTM and the McAfee VSE/HIPS suite
