Develop and manage the relationship between Merlin International and targeted Federal Agencies by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals (i.e. CIOs, CTOs, CORs, GTMs and other administrators).
Oversee qualification of corporate opportunity pipeline.
Develop and maintain capture plans and strategies for new business opportunities
Identify and cultivate relationships with strategic teaming partners.
Identify opportunities for business or program expansion/ organic growth, and develop and manage relationships with relevant and influential customers, vendors, and partners that further business development activity.
Work with program management, proposals, marketing, sales and solutions groups to implement business development strategy into specific Federal initiatives and pursuits.
Interact with proposal and solutions engineer staff to drive solution development
Bachelor’s degree required, BS preferred.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in capture management.
Experience developing and implementing successful business partnership with Federal agencies.
Familiarity with Federal agencies statutes, regulations, and policies.
Understanding of the procurement process of Federal agencies.
Strong experience in prospecting and relationship building.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including presentation skills and public speaking.
Must be willing to travel.
Experience performing capture or business development Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Experience performing capture or business development in the federal healthcare IT market.
Strong familiarity with SharePoint and SalesForce.
