Infrastructure Project Manager

Roles/Responsibilities: 

  • Outline main activities for the month and plan activities for the next month.
  • Prepare correspondence, memoranda and reports required by CDCO standards or other directives provided.
  • Prepare Contractor progress reports.
  • Establish and maintain assigned project files for the Facilities Management Section.  Maintenance includes the development and upkeep of spreadsheets to track project schedules, material delivery, construction progress, modifications, cost estimates and other financial information.
  • Review, assist and report on assigned construction and maintenance activities, and provide engineering/construction consultation on projects as requested.
  • Review invoices for Program Manager (PM) for accuracy of progress payment requests, travel and other cost charges on assigned projects.  Research inquiries from customers and vendors on payments.
  • Perform simple analyses related to proposed projects.  Research online or other sources for market research information and prepare results for PM.
  • Review assigned project plan for content, code compliance, cost, schedule, and procedures, ensuring required documentation is included, and provide recommendations for quality assurance on reviewed projects.
  • Meet with Facilities Management Section on a weekly basis to discuss status of work, and meet with PMs on an as needed basis to discuss problems and concerns, status of work, changes in assignments or other project related issues.
  • Review final work products on assigned projects for completion, providing punch lists for incomplete projects, and perform follow-up activities until project is satisfactorily completed.
  • Meet with customers to determine needs, and make recommendations for project scope and schedule.
  • Schedule and oversee the installation of products.
  • Adhere to task order specifications and established policies and procedures by reporting any noted discrepancies to the responsible Government manager.

Qualifications/Education requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or business related field preferred
  • 10+ years facility project management experience  
  • Significant experience with managing multiple facility infrastructure projects to include renovations, expansions, demolitions and additions to an existing facility.​​

​​Preferred Skills:

  • Working with MS Office tools to include Visio, and MS Project.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • PMP certification a plus
